Publication news!
Sketchbook Psychology is proud to report that we have another paper in press! Rachel Marfleet, alongside colleagues working in cancer care, have published an article in Clinical Psychology Forum documenting the success of a project to widen access to psychological support for cancer patients across Buckinghamshire.
The main theme of this project has been collaboration, which is an ethic highly valued and replicated in the work we do at Sketchbook Psychology. Collaboration in therapy means involving you, the client, in determining what works best for your life. The therapist and client work together as co-researchers to understand the problems and challenges, and develop ideas together for what can help. Collaboration can also be about involving our wider networks - friends, families, school - into the work to understand how our problems exist within out contexts.
