Dr Rachel Marfleet DClinPsy. BSc. Hons.

Sketchbook Director. Consultant Clinical Psychologist. Associate Member of the Institute of Narrative Therapy.

HCPC registered.

Rachel is a Clinical Psychologist and Systemic Practitioner with more than 20 years’ experience working with children, adults and families. Within the NHS, Rachel has worked for a number of leading UK hospitals including; Great Ormond Street, Nottingham University Hospital, and Sheffield Children’s Hospital. Alongside Sketchbook Psychology, she is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust.

Rachel has a specialist interest in working with families, and exploring the impact of relationships between people. Her work within the NHS has focused on supporting families with life limiting and life threatening illness.

Rachel loves working creatively, and playfully, and is always looking for ways to make therapy fun and accessible. She is an associate member of the Institute of Narrative Therapy and brings these ideas to her work.

In addition to clinical work she is a Principal Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire and an Honorary Teaching Fellow supporting the development of Clinical Psychology Trainees at the University College London.
