Dr Rachel Marfleet DClinPsy. BSc. Hons.

Sketchbook Director. Consultant Clinical Psychologist. Systemic Practitioner. Associate Member of the Institute of Narrative Therapy.

Rachel is a Clinical Psychologist and Systemic Practitioner with more than 20 years’ experience working with children, adults and families. Within the NHS, Rachel has worked for a number of leading UK hospitals including; Great Ormond Street, Nottingham University Hospital, and Sheffield Children’s Hospital. Alongside Sketchbook Psychology, she is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, specialising in supporting adults and couples with their experience of cancer.

Rachel has a specialist interest in working with families, and exploring the impact of relationships between people.

Rachel loves working creatively and playfully, and is always looking for ways to make therapy fun and accessible. She is an associate member of the Institute of Narrative Therapy and has specialist qualifications in EMDR and Systemic Family Therapy. She enjoys being creative in bringing a range of ideas to her work to support everyone’s individual needs.

In addition to clinical work she also lectures on Clinical Psychology at University of Hertfordshire, University College London and University of Essex.
