Narrative Therapy and Community Work: Journeys and Hope Conference

It has been a real privilege this week to journey to Liverpool for the Narrative Therapy Conference 2024. I have been witness to inspiring stories from practitioners from across the world, and come back full of creative ideas.

It’s also been an honour to represent the University of Hertfordshire, and present a workshop alongside Dr Dane Duncan from Narratives of Us. Dane’s Theatre of Life project with the trans community has sparked so many ideas for how we create communities of learning and support within the Clinical Psychology training course at Herts Uni.

I’m excited to be returning from Liverpool with lots of creative ideas that I can apply to my practice - using drawing, movies, music, and words - hoping to bring hope and change about for those I work with.
